Tarbouch is an independent, family-owned restaurant located on East Oltorf Street in South Austin. Paul Nader, the owner, and head Chef takes pride in bringing the Lebanese culture and food to Texas. Tarbouch presents a unique mix of the Mediterranean and traditional Lebanese cuisine.

Hookah is a water pipe for smoking. The hookah works by water filtration and an indirect heat source. It is used for smoking herbal fruits and tobacco.
I go here like once a week. They put so much care into the food. Even the hummus is superior than any other hummus I have had. Everything is great but we always get the green beans, hummus, baba ghanoush, and falafel. I used to live walking distance but now drive 20 minutes just to go here. Highly recommended!
I can't believe I have not reviewed Tarbouch yet. It's my favorite shawarma hands down. I'm picky too. Everything is perfect, including the sweet tea (it's got cloves and cardamom). It's just as good to go as it is dine in.
I had been searching for the best Lebanese food in Austin for about a year and finally found it at Tarbouch. We have come here for lunch twice now and both times the food was really really good as well as the service. I got the gyro plate and they give you huge portions. 10/10 would recommend!
THE BEST HUMMUS IN TOWN! I crave this stuff. I make my husband pick up 3 to go orders of hummus and pita on his way home from work when I need a fix. The chicken shawarma and kebobs are great. It is great to have a place down south for a good gyro.
I had forgotten how amazing this place is!! It's the perfect portion (I had intended to take some home for later but it's toooo good!) and the staff here have been so incredibly kind. I will definitely be coming back now that I have been reminded how delicious that garlic sauce is to mix with the chicken!!
